THE Australian Government's decision to phase in carbon trading has been welcomed by the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association and the Australian Pipeline Industry Association, which see it as an opportunity to expand natural gas' share of the energy market. But scheme details are unlikely to be released until after the election, and the details are important.
